Mosman is a suburb on the Lower North Shore region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Mosman is located 8 kilometres north-east of the Sydney central business district and is the administrative centre for the local government area of the Municipality of Mosman.
Mosman is one of the prettiest waterside suburbs in Sydney. Just north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it's leafy with fantastic water views and harbour walks. As well as being home to one of the best zoos in the country, it also boasts a delightfully charming high street brimming with boutique shops and cosy cafes.
Mosman forms a peninsula between the two Harbours and features a number of popular beaches on both harbours. Small arcades, restaurants and exclusive boutiques give Mosman an almost village atmosphere, although the area feels very much alive.
The suburb that spreads down from Military Road to the harbour may be known as a northside haven for moneyed up families with big houses and big SUVs, but Mosman has more to offer than a look at...
