Fell in love with it here, the rocks are great for kids to climb. Views are stunning and you can walk for miles. There is a great cafe on Portland bill where we ate twice and would recommend. Car park is quite large but can imagine it getting full quite quickly in the summer.

The lighthouse was painted in bright red and white livery, which has been the tourists' symbol of Portland ever since. The lighthouse had cost £13,000.
