Johannes Kepler (/ ˈ k ɛ p l ər /; German: [joˈhanəs ˈkɛplɐ,-nɛs-] ⓘ; 27 December 1571 – 15 November 1630) was a German astronomer, mathematician, astrologer, natural philosopher and writer on music.
