Gunwharf Quays is a shopping centre located in the Portsea area of the city of Portsmouth in England. It was constructed in the early 21st century on the site of what had once been HM Gunwharf, Portsmouth.
The shops can get quite busy but is only a short walk from the historic dockyard so parking there and walking along is a good option and you can enjoy lovely views across the dockyard. There are a number of different restaurants here but would fully recommend booking before hand or well in advance if you can.
Gunwharf Quays has very good transport links - across the road from "The Hard" bus station, and Portsmouth Harbour railway station, as well as the ferry to Gosport. Easy for taxis as well. The shopping centre is not entirely under cover, (something we learnt to our dismay), on a particularly wet and windswept day.
