As touched on earlier in this article Steve Clarke OBE was a man who always had lots of ideas, and was always keen to give back to the local community with projects and charity events. He was also a local councillor and the President of the Bideford Chamber of Commerce.

  5. Jan 15, 2014 · Tributes have been pouring in for a Bideford Councillor and well known businessman who died on Tuesday morning. Steve Clarke OBE passed away at home aged 62. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Marilyn, his children Phil, Roger and Lucy and nine grandchildren.
