   • Countryside. The majority of Lincolnshire is rural and the county is home to some stunning scenery. From the rolling Wolds of the north to the flat fenlands in the south there is plenty of Mother Nature’s best work to admire here.
   • Beautiful beaches. Lincolnshire’s east coast is home to miles of award-winning golden sands. There are the popular family resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, promising all the trappings of a traditional seaside day out – amusements, donkey rides and fish and chips – while for those who prefer something a little quieter there’s Anderby Creek and Huttoft.
   • Butlins. Skegness was home to Billy Butlin’s first resort back in 1936, designed to give families an affordable place to relax together and enjoy good times come rain or shine.
   • Stately homes. If historic properties are your thing Lincolnshire has plenty of impressive piles open to the public. There’s Belton House, near Grantham, which featured in the cult 80’s kids’ show Moondial; over in Stamford you’ll find Burghley House, one of the largest and most impressive houses of the first Elizabethan age; while up near Lincoln is the impressive Doddington Hall.
