Oct 4, 2021 · Yes. Rampart Range Rd is the road that takes you South to Devilshead, a ranger station in the national forest. South on Santa Fe to Sedalia. Go west past 105 to the turnoff. Then South. The road is closed in the winter. We did drive up to see the site, but found it pretty hard to locate.

Rampart Reservoir is just a 40 minute drive from the west side of Colorado Springs and just east of the town of Woodland Park. Rampart is by far one of the deepest reservoirs within a 1-2 hour drive from the Springs and has excellent trout fishing from the shore. The spring and fall are great.
