The Politician is a Netflix series, written and directed by Ryan Murphy, that offers a comedic glimpse into what it takes to make a politician. Meet Payton Hobart , a wealthy student from Santa Barbara, California, who has known since age seven that he's going to be the President of the United States.
- “Pilot” Payton Hobart (Ben Platt) wants to be president. Eventually, President of the United States. But first, student body president of Saint Sebastian High School.
- “The Harrington Commode” While Payton is confident in Infinity's ability to get him elected, McAfee (Laura Dreyfuss) and James (Theo Germaine) are wary — after all, Saint Sebastian does not need an Eagleton Affair.
