Waking Life 2022 – Ticket info. On August 17th 2022, it will have been 1,094 days since we last converged at Waking Life, but who’s counting? It feels surreal to be meeting on dancefloors again, just as surreal as it felt when dancefloors became outlawed in early 2020.
General info. Tickets to Waking Life are limited. All tickets include free parking and access to the campsite, and each ticket is sold with an additional €10 waste deposit. Earn your waste deposit back by handing in your full (and recycled) bags of waste along with your waste deposit ticket.

How do I get to Waking Life festival?
The closest major airport is in Lisbon. The drive from Lisbon will take you just a bit over 2 hours. Other possible airports are Porto (3h45min), Faro (3h30min) and Madrid (4h30min).
What’s the weather like in Crato?
Temperatures in Alentejo in August can fluctuate between 25 C (77F) and 40 C (104F). Wear sunscreen to protect your skin from sunburns and drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated.
Is Waking Life festival cashless?
Yes. You can acquire Klingelings (credits) at one of the ticket counters, in exchange for cash, or pay by card. The first time you get some, you’ll receive a card which you can keep with you throughout your stay. After Waking Life, you have two weeks to reclaim the remaining value on your card, should you have any left. There are no ATMs on-site, so be sure to take enough cash and your bank card.
