He received surgical residency training at Macky Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan and Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York (1973-1978) followed by urologic residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn (1978-1981).

Tom F. Lue, MD (1947 – ) Born December 26, 1947, Tom Lue, MD graduated with highest honors from the Kaohsiung Medical College in Taiwan in 1972. Dr. Lue completed his urologic training with Keith Waterhouse, MD at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
