May 1, 2024 · St. Mary’s is an all-girls Secondary School, situated on Convent Hill, overlooking the town of Ballina. It is an outstanding school with a student population of over 500 pupils. St. Mary’s has been synonymous with the education of young women since its foundation over 170 years ago by the Sisters of Mercy.

Sep 4, 2022 · After almost two years of construction, the new school building for St. Mary's Secondary School in Ballina will officially open for students this Monday morning. A Mass of Welcomes takes place for first year students and their parents, followed by a tour of the school and refreshments.
