This city, bordered by the Liaodong Peninsula on the south side and Changbai Mountains on the north side, belongs to Bohai economic circle.
- Shenyang Imperial Palace. While less well known than the Forbidden City of Beijing, Shenyang's Imperial Palace was built by the first Qing Emperor in 1625.
