  2. Flaming Geyser State Park is a 480-acre day-use park with more than three miles of freshwater shoreline on the Green River. The park's most unique feature is its geysers methane seeps. Park activities include whitewater rafting and model airplane flying.

  3. We hiked around for about an hour taking in the two sites for which the park is named: flaming geyser and bubbling geyser. They are cool to see (bring a lighter or matches to activate the flaming one). There is a river right next to the park where you can swim or go tubing. Lots of picnic areas.

  4. The Flaming Geyser State Park is located on the Green River in southwestern King County, Washington, near the city of Black Diamond. [2][3] The park was named for a flame which burned through a concrete basin, fueled by a methane gas pocket 1,000 feet (300 m) below the surface.

  6. Cross the bridge over Christy Creek and turn right up the side trail signed Bubbling Geyser. It's about an 0.15 mile hike, with some steep up and down, partly on rustic stairs, with a net gain of about 150 feet. In spring, an impressive variety of wildflowers grow along this route.
