  5. For an early Jacques Rivette 'Le coup de berger' has an authoritative eye from a then young filmmaker. His execution is masterful, and the camera work is refreshing. This plot is nicely tied up and kept my interest. I have decided to watch quite a few Rivette films over the next few weeks, and from this short, I am intrigued.
