The best movie Van Damme has starred in is Timecop, but the best Van Damme movie is either Bloodsport or Double Impact. I do lean Double Impact though. It's just so good.
JCVDs big career movies were from 1988 to 1995. Even with JCVD he has been fairly obscure since, releasing mainly straight to DVD films or other small time films (apart from maybe Expendables 2). I don't wonder what the hell happened. Van Damme has made a few interesting films I've enjoyed quite a bit after JCVD. No wondering.
