Fortunately, BlackBerry created a means to reset your password should you lock yourself out of your device. You can also, however, choose the "nuclear" option -- completely resetting your phone to factory defaults.
When you restore the factory default settings, all personal settings are reset. Follow these instructions to restore the factory default settings. All phone data will be deleted.
First, you need an autoloader. Download the corresponding one for your device here: BB10 Autoloaders. Turn off your device, plug it into your computer and run the autoloader. It'll do its job and you should be at the setup screen!
Do one of the following: • On a Windows computer, click Back Up & Restore. Click Factory Reset. • On a Mac computer, click BlackBerry Link > Preferences. Click Reload > Reload.
