Widgets are similar. Reset the wallpaper: Tap-and-hold the home screen, choose Wallpaper & style or Wallpaper. Pick a new one.
I go to reset it and the whole cycle repeats. As I cannot get past both screens to perform a factory reset or any deletion of apps I am stuck. I think the best think to do would be to somehow reset the phone, erasing everything including the OS and installing a new OS from scratch.
