Aug 3, 2021 · To confirm what I'm sure many, if not most, of you know: availability of signal can have a dramatic impact on battery drain. I've recently started working at a new building, and haven't noticed a place w/ in that building where I lose signal.
My Priv is almost 6 years old and still my primary phone, but the battery has been wonky off and on for the last year or so. Right now it's mostly doing okay, but for a while I was having a lot of issues with the battery draining super fast if I had any apps open.

The biggest problem with the PRIV, and other android phones, is the junk that runs in the background. There is about a million apps running all the time. Optimizing the phone as much as possible will cool it down and get you better battery life.
Mar 29, 2021 · It definitely does sound like a battery issue. You might be able to find replacements online, and also find tutorials online as well. Some smaller mobile repair shops might be able to have a look at it, especially if you tell them that you have a video tutorial and the parts.
