All-City Teams. CIF Los Angeles City Section is the governing body of high school sports for 156 schools in the Los Angeles area. We hold championship events in 19 sports across three seasons a year (fall, winter, spring). We are a non-profit organization located in Granada Hills, CA.
The CIF Los Angeles City Section ( CIF-LA) is the governing body of high school athletics for public schools in the city of Los Angeles and some surrounding communities. All of these schools were once associated with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Most recently, The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), The LAFC Foundation and the 3252 Independent Supporters Union have teamed up with the City of Cudahy to launch a new youth soccer league in memory of Mauricio “Mo” Fascio, at the future site of Colibrí Field in South Los Angeles.
