Aug 11, 2022 · Boomtown Festival 2022 Grand Central line-up in Winchester. De La Soul, Julian Marley, and Kool & The Gang are all set to appear on the stage. Plenty of festivals are still to happen this summer, but one of the most secretive line-ups so far has been for Hampshire’s Boomtown, held on the Matterley Estate near Winchester.
It’s a party, first and foremost, Boomtown. A colossal, unhinged, mashup rave. It also happens to be a dazzlingly impressive living adventure game, with a gigantic cast of skilled actors in full costume, phenomenal set design, deep lore and a convoluted plot that goes back years.
