She was outspoken against the violence in the first film, which I'm assuming made her seem "difficult" in the eyes of the producers. Paige Turco was fine and as a kid I think I liked her more, but as an adult- Judith Hoag fucking killed it and along with Elias Koteas really elevated the movie to another level.
