Great Eastern Run participants will need to be 17 years of age on race day. The 5K participants will need to be 4 years of age on race day. Any child under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must also enter the race via the entry system – failure to do so may cancel the child's entry.
To participate in the 12KM Great Eastern Run, you must be 16 years old and above as at the 31st December 2023. There is no age restriction to participate in the 5KM Triple Fun Run, but participants must be able to complete the 5KM distance. All children aged 5 years and above as of the 31st December 2023 must register.
The Great Eastern Run had been postponed for 2021. In fact the race did not take place in 2019, 2020 or 2021 and returned in 2022. In the past this has been a very well organised event. There are 5 water stations out on the course and the race is now run on fully closed roads. Great Eastern Run Course Map
