Bordertown (Finnish: Sorjonen) is a Finnish crime drama and Nordic noir television series created by Miikko Oikkonen and starring Ville Virtanen as detective inspector Kari Sorjonen. The first season, which consisted of eleven episodes, premiered in Finland on 16 October 2016 on Yle TV1 .
Why are the English language overdub talent never credited? There is some decent voices on this show and it would be nice to know who they are.

Each story provides a good mystery and the main characters are a lot of fun to watch. Ville Virtanen does a great job as Sorjonen; I loved how he constantly moves his hands as he thinks through problems. He contrasts impressively with Anu Sinisalo, who does a fine job as his tough-as-nails, ex-FSB partner Lena. The rest of the cast impress as well.

The Border Patrol Agent who leads the show is played by the legendary voice actor and comedian, who you may recognize from The Simpsons.

On the flip side, the father in the other family is played by an actor you may recognize from Sleepy Hollow, The O.C., and Jane The Virgin.This could be a breakout role for him!
He's the voice of Nester from Happy Feet and also lent his voice to Inside Outand just about any animated show you can name!
Like Azaria, this actress is vocal royalty. You may recognize her as Lois Griffin, Wonder Woman on Robot Chicken, and well as MADtv and Gilmore Girls.
Gert's Gonzalez counterpart is played by an actress who you may recognize from Days of Our Livesand various television guest stars.
Finally, Steve is played by Norm from Phineus and Ferb, who has also contributed various characters to Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad! Jul 3, 2023 · Bordertown is a great show with some new and unique takes that rejuvenate an existing genre. A masterful balance between family dynamics and criminal investigation gives us many tender and lovely moments. The show also has excellent cinematography of the landscape, that transports you to the Finnish countryside from the safety of your couch.
