Marthe Robin (13 March 1902 in Châteauneuf-de-Galaure, Drôme, France – 6 February 1981 in Châteauneuf-de-Galaure) was a French Roman Catholic mystic and stigmatist and foundress of the Foyers de charité ("Charity homes") association.
Marthe Robin, who was born in 1902 and whose life spanned the 20th century, radiated with a love that transfigured her life. During the 79 years of her life marked by illness and the progressive paralysis of her whole body, she was a witness to the triumph of love over suffering.
Crucified with Jesus, Marthe received Mary from him as a Mother. Every Friday, before the end of the "Passion," Mary appeared to her, standing at the foot of her bed. Marthe stopped moaning and said to her friend Father Finet: "Father, Mother is here!"
