Over-the-Range Microwaves and Advantium Ovens require a minimum 66" mounting height from the floor to top of the appliance. The 66" from the floor dimension will allow approximately 13" between the cooktop surface below and the bottom, front of the Microwave.
All Over-the-Range Microwaves can be vented to the outside using an equivalent total of 140 feet of rigid 3 1/4" x 10" rectangular or rigid 6" round ducting. Most of the microwaves require around at least 3 inches all around, leave three inches of space between the walls and the top, sides, and rear of the microwave oven. But for this one if you can have at least 8 inches all around for safety reasons, and especially from the top since heat rises, will be great!
