The Cornell Big Red men's soccer program represents the Cornell University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1908, the Big Red compete in the Ivy League. The Big Red are coached by John Smith, a former professional player and assistant coach for the Stanford Cardinal men's soccer program.

On November 12, 1887, Cornell played its first intercollegiate game against Union College, losing 24–10. The following year, Cornell recorded their first win by beating Palmyra, 26–0, and went on to finish the season with a 4–2 record.
The Big Red have appeared in the NCAA lacrosse tournament 30 times. Cornell has won the three championships and were runner up five times, most recently in 2022 when they lost to Maryland 9-7. Cornell maintains the oldest ongoing rivalry in college lacrosse with the Hobart College Statesmen. Their main Ivy League rivalry is with Princeton.
May 12, 2023 · We are so lucky that the Cornell Men’s soccer team was able to immerse themselves in a country where soccer is so mainstream. Because they have recently gone into the NCAA championship, we are all excited to see how they will perform this upcoming fall.
