Angela is survived by her son, Barbaro Ponce; daughter, Lisbet Canteli (Manuel); grandsons, Manuel and Christopher Canteli; great grandson, Daniel Canteli; and extended family. In 1972, Angela came to the United States with her family from their home country of Cuba.
