   Where did Michael Rutter study psychiatry?

   • He went on to study neurology and finished his clinical training at London’s Institute of Psychiatry. In 1973, he was awarded the first ever UK professorship in child psychiatry. The Michael Rutter Centre for Children and Adolescents at Maudsley Hospital in London was named in his honour, and he worked there as a consultant psychiatrist.
