Happy Winterfest! It's that time of year in Fortnite where we get to unwrap free cosmetic presents and complete holiday-themed quests to earn some extra rewards. This year is no exception, with a Winterfest Snapshot questline that will send you on a search for stolen presents, plus a big list of Unvaulted holiday items to get you in the Christmas cheer.
Fortnite Winterfest went live on December 14, 2023 and will end on January 2, 2024 at 9 AM ET.
During Winterfest 2023 in Fortnite, you can get up to fourteen free gifts! Here is how to get free Fortnite Winterfest gifts:
•Launch Fortnite
•Select the "Quests" tab
•Select the "Daily Gifts" section from the left-hand column
•Select "open" to get your free daily gift!
Some free Winterfest 2023 gifts will include the Winterfest Bushranger and Holiday Boxy Outfits. Judging by past Winterfest events, these Outfits may only be obtainable in the last few gifts received of the total fourteen.
The following Holiday items have been Unvaulted in Fortnite Winterfest 2023:
•Holiday Presents!
•Throw down and break open holiday present to obtain loot.
•Sneaky Snowmando
•Throw Sneaky Snowmando to place snowmen, or wear as a disguise.
•Snowball Launcher
A new set of Winterfest 2023 Quests are available this year, and by completing them all nineteen Winterfest quests you can unlock the Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe for free!
A new limited-time game mode is available during Fortnite Winterfest 2023, Ship It! Express. This game mode functions like Zero Build, but there are no weapons allowed. You can only use throwable weapons and consumables to deal damage to opponents and survive to the end.
To make up for the wackiness, Ship It! Express mode has increased loot spawns and more frequent Supply Drops. Plenty of opportunities to get your mitts on a stack of grenades.
