Anthony Leslie Bastable (15 October 1944 – 29 May 2007) was an English television presenter, who was one of the original presenters of the children's magazine programme Magpie.
Tony Bastable. Presenter/Producer. 14 October 1944 to 28 May 2007. A former journalist, Bastable switched to television in the early 60s and proved himself adept at presenting programmes for children. It was as a founding presenter of Thames Television's Magpie that he will be best remembered.
