A television movie about the Harding family forsaking city life for the quiet of the small town of Stepford where the women are programmed into perfection. Steven Harding's second wife, Laura, is concerned about her new law career, and the Harding children fear boredom.
Laura (Barbara Eden) marries Stephen (Don Murray), uproots her teenage children (Tammy Lauren & Randall Batinkoff), and moves to Stepford, where Stephen is a member of the Men's Association. Laura quickly realizes there are suspicious goings-on in the town.
