SG-1 is captured by Aris Boch, a bounty hunter working for Sokar, who proves to be almost impossible to escape from. He forces them to help him capture an alleged Goa'uld hiding on the planet, but SG-1 soon discovers they are about to capture a Tok'ra.

After finding a group of dead Goa'uld, Jackson begins to experience the affects of schizophrenia and hallucinating the dead Goa'uld following him around. As he is committed, Teal'c falls ill and it is discovered that an organism that kills Goa'uld has infected him.
Teal'c must help the Tok'ra Aldwin prepare a nuclear weapon to explode the whole moon when his ship arrives as their last chance to eliminate Sokar, but he decides to rescue SG-1 instead, by flying in the path of the rings device on Sokar's ship when he arrives.
