   • For me, Demonoid was and still is the most complete tracker when it comes to reading in general. Ebooks, magazines, comics and audiobooks were all over the place, constantly being updated and adding to one already huge library.    • TPB still exists, and is still great. If you follow safe downloading practices (enforcing encryption, not hopping on anything too new) you'll be fine. IMHO one of the best features of Demonoid was the ability to filter movies by video quality. Are there any other sites with that feature? EZTV is littered with people getting DMCA notices...

   What if Demonoid had a site backup?

   • I would stay far the fuck away from this. If Demonoid's admins had site backups they easily could have had the site back up in under a day on another host. Instead, 4 months later it comes limping back online, that makes no sense. It's also known that the original server was handed over to the US government.
