You may be contacted for an interview during the admissions process via video conference. The interview program allows applicants to learn more about the Law School and provides the Admissions Committee with greater detail about applicants’ interests and motivations. Please note that we are unable to consider requests for interviews.
Based upon an assessment of Law School borrowing during the 2023-2024 academic year, the average educational loan fees amount to $2,673 ($214 for Unsubsidized loans and $2,459 for Graduate PLUS loans).

Dec 19, 2023 · To apply to Columbia Law School, you first need to sign up for the Law School Credential Assembly Service (CAS), which you can access online via the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). You will submit your entire application online through LSAC.
The application will open at 12:00am (NY time) on December 14 close at 11:59pm (NY time) December 21. Once you are ready to apply, submit the following materials through Columbia’s LL.M. Program application on LSAC.org: Personal Statement; Résumé; Application fee of $85 (nonrefundable and not credited to your tuition if admitted)
