Jul 13, 2016 · Strathblair was a period drama series that took us back to the 1950s. With his military service duties over Major Andrew Menzies returns home in the early 1950’s to his ancestral home of Strathblair and is soon locking horns with his father Sir James, the laird.

The cottage catches fire and even though the neighbors come to the rescue most of their property is destroyed. Devastated they decide to leave Strathblair forever.
