Reef Doctors is a fast-paced coproduction that follows the medical staff of the only practice on the Great Barrier Reef. They deal with deadly venomous creatures, tropical diseases and rocky relationships.
Two old friends of Sam and Jack, who are wildlife documentary makers, have come to Hope Island. They go out to the reef to do some filming but their boat comes lose and drifts away from them. A massive search is mounted.
Dr Sam Stewart runs a remote medical clinic on Hope Island in the Great Barrier Reef. She's a GP, but in her spare time she and her colleague, Gus, chase the venomous creatures that inhabit the area.
