Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion (Japanese: 新幹線変形ロボ シンカリオン, Hepburn: Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkarion, "Transforming Bullet Train Robot Shinkalion") is a Japanese toy franchise created by Takara Tomy, in association with the Japan Railways Group.
Jan 6, 2018 · The Shinkalion robots are various models of real-life Japanese bullet trains (shinkansen) that transform into robots to fight an unknown evil to protect the safety and peace of Japan. The children must work together with the adults of the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute (SUEI) to defeat a monster that looks like a jet black bullet train.

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion is a Japanese toy franchise created by Takara Tomy in association with the Japan Railways Group. The toys first launched back in 2015 with a tie-in manga series serialized on the Shogakukan Televi-Kun magazine and a series of promotional videos on YouTube.

The "Super Evolutionary Railway Development Agency," had developed the "Shinkalion," a robot that transforms into a bullet train, as a countermeasure against this threat.
