Kwok Fu and Lun Kah began teaching and spreading the art of Wing Chun in the Foshan and Guangdong region. Cahn Chi-sun and Lui Ying moved to Hong Kong but neither accepted students. He married Cheung Wing-sing and they had several children: sons Ip Chun and Ip Ching, and daughters Ip Nga-sum (葉雅心) and Ip Nga-wun (葉雅媛).

During that period of time, Ip Man's wife, Cheung Wing-sing, also comes to Hong Kong to join her husband, but returns to Foshan shortly after because life in Hong Kong is hard. The couple never saw each other again because Cheung died not long after returning to Foshan.
Cheung Wing-sing was born about 1897, in Foshan, Guangdong, China. She married Yip Man in 1916, in Foshan, Guangdong, China. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1960, in Hong Kong, China, at the age of 64.

Jul 7, 2022 · Cheung Wing-Sing died of cancer in 1960. Per Black Belt Magazine, Ip Man did find love again — he remarried in 1954 to a woman who was about 16 years his junior. Ip Man reportedly had a mistress, too, reports The Cinemaholic.
