Robert Brunning (29 June 1943 – 18 October 2011) was a British musician who was, as a small part of a long musical career, the original bass guitar player with the blues rock band Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac’s original bassist Bob Brunning has sadly passed away age 68, after suffering a heart attack in his home last week. The Bournemouth-born bass player played in many bands over his career, including Tramp, Savoy Brown and Five’s Company, but it was Fleetwood Mac, whom Brunning was temporarily part of, which he is most famous for.
