Elstree Studios on Shenley Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is a British film and television production centre operated by Elstree Film Studios Limited. One of several facilities historically referred to as Elstree Studios, the Shenley Road studios originally opened in 1925.
The studios at Shenley Road are used for both film and television production and are the permanent home of BBC Studioworks during the redevelopment of Television Centre. Shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and Pointless are recorded there.
The John Maxwell Building. Named after producer and co-owner of an early Elstree Studios, the John Maxwell Building offers spacious production offices and is home to many of Elstree's long-term tenants. With versatile spaces, The 'Maxwell' Building has also previously provided space for Rehearsals, Costume Departments and Editing Suites.
