Béla Károlyi (Hungarian: [ˈbeːlɒ ˈkaːroji]; born September 13, 1942) is a former gymnastics coach; he is an ethnic Hungarian Romanian-American. Early in his coaching career he developed the Romanian centralized training system for gymnastics.
