    Michael Houston King (born 11 June 1970; age 53) is the actor who portrayed Jero in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Muse".

    Houston King was born in Winter Park, Florida and graduated from the Duke University with a degree in English and attended the North Carolina at Chapel Hill University where he graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting. He participated in the Professional Actor Training Program and was a member of the Playmakers Repertory Company.

    His first acting appearances on-screen were in the daily soap operas Another World and As the World Turns in 1996. Houston King portrayed guest roles in Sliders (1997, starring Jerry O'Connell and John Rhys-Davies, with Mark Kiely, and Bill Blair), Unhappily Ever After (1997, with Frank Lloyd), Men Behaving Badly (1997), Saving Graces (1999), and Hyperion Bay (1999), as well as in the short comedy Ugly Naked People (1999).

    Prior to his Star Trek: Voyager appearance, Houston King portrayed Terry Dalton in the television thriller Green Sails (2000) and had a recurring role in two episodes of Pacific Blue (1997 and 2000, along Alex Datcher in the former episode and David Drew Gallagher in the latter one).
