Ha sido coronel-jefe de la Unidad Central Operativa, y bajo su mando se desarrollaron importantes operaciones como la liberación de José Antonio Ortega Lara, la Operación Púnica y la resolución de los casos Diana Quer y Gabriel Cruz.
