Robert Markham, the second son of Sir Robert Markham by Anne Warburton, was a military officer serving under Vere, Borough, and Conway. In 1620 he was in the army of 2200 men under Sir Horace Vere, which James I sent to help his son-in-law, the Elector Palatine.
