Steve Galluccio, whose plays are, for the most part, rooted in Italian immigrant behaviour, has written box office hits in both English and French. The son of parents who came to Montréal from Campania, Galluccio was raised in Montréal's tight-knit Little Italy, and graduated from Pius X High School before he earned a degree in translation from Concordia University in 1981.
