Colin Higgins (28 July 1941 – 5 August 1988) was an Australian-American screenwriter, actor, director, and producer. He was best known for writing the screenplay for the 1971 film Harold and Maude , [1] and for directing the films Foul Play (1978) and 9 to 5 (1980).

Dec 5, 2012 · Colin Higgins was a British actor famous for many appearances on British television. In 1977 Higgins was cast as Wedge Antilles in Star Wars and appears in the role for one scene only. The reason for this is that Higgins was fired after a day of filming because he was having difficulty recalling his lines.
