Just like The Peasants in 2023, Loving Vincent could not have been created without the help of 125 artists from all over the world.
Now, married writer-director duo DK and Hugh Welchman are back with a film even bigger in scope, story and game-changing hand-painted animation. The Peasants ( Chłop ), Poland’s entry for the 96th Academy Awards, is based on Władysław Reymont’s 1904-1909 Nobel Prize-winning novel of the same name.
