Elia David Cmíral (/ ˈ s m ɪr əl /; [better source needed] born October 1, 1950) is a Czech composer for film, television, ballet, and video games.
Elia Cmiral | Composer. A French feature drama directed by Kader Ayd starring Charles Aznavour and Dolores Chaplin. For the film, Elia wrote a seventy-minute score for a large orchestra featuring duduk. Six Stories from an Enchanted Garden, Sinfonia Concertante for Panflute and Orchestra.
Born in Czechoslovakia, Elia Cmiral is the son of an actress and a theater director, and grandson of one of Antonin Dvorak’s pupils. A multi instrumentalist, Cmiral attended the Prague Music Conservatory, where he studied composition and double bass.
