Bats is a five piece rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 2007, Bats plays a blend of post-punk, hardcore and math rock, with lyrics drawing heavily from science subject areas. The debut EP Cruel Sea Scientist was released in 2007 on Armed Ambition.

BATS is a hardcore post-punk band based in Dublin. The group was formed in 2006 by three ex-members of the band Martha Washington - Conor McIntyre [Guitar & Vocals], Noel Anderson [Drums & Vocals] and Timmy Moran [Bass Guitar & Vocals].
Jan 1, 1993 · The Bats have been active with the same line-up since New Year's Eve 1982. They've released 10 albums, have regularly toured in their home country of New Zealand (where they are based) USA, EU, UK and Australia.
