As a writer, producer and solo artist, Phil Manzanera has worked with many of the luminaries of modern music, such as Steve Winwood, David Gilmour, John Cale, Godley & Creme, Nico and John Wetton. He has co-written material with many artists, including Brian Eno, Tim Finn, Robert Wyatt and Gilmour.
Jan 21, 2019 · Tim co-wrote that with Phil Manzanera (I've read that for these songs, Tim wrote the lyrics and the melodies and Phil M the rhythms) for the "Southern Cross" album which was recorded in 1988-89, i.e. around the same time he was working on "Tim Finn".
